![]() Our "new" mayor Steve Skadron came in to our classroom today to teach us about our community and his role in it. The students asked him questions and shared their thoughts about the community. Our favorite question was, "When we're done...can I hug you?" The Mayor read us the story A is for Aspen, one of our favorites. How lucky are we? Look at our pile of published books. We're getting read for our big debut! Come to our Publishing Party to read all our great stories!
We were getting a little stir crazy here at AES with no outdoor recess and freezing temperatures. We resorted to some snowman art since we couldn't go out and do the real thing.
Have you ever wanted to be in a rock band? Teddy is here to tell you all about them!After learning all about action verbs, we learned a new song about action verbs. Then, naturally, we decided to act out our action verbs through dance. Check out our dance moves here. Afterwards, we brainstormed some action words that described our movements. See our words below. Students will be creating a timeline of their life at home and presenting it at school. Read about this fun project carefully and let me know if you have any questions.
